Allura was adopted from Smart Rescue by Matt and Mimi as a personal pet in 2022. She is a showstopper - solid white, with bright blue eyes that captured the Baker’s hearts. But her coloring is a clue to Allura’s differences, she is profoundly deaf - she cannot hear at all. Shortly after her arrival Allura contracted an ear infection and a reaction to medication left her with a permanent head tilt. While it doesn’t slow her down the head tilt does cause one odd behavior, Allura can only turn right, not left. While she lives at the Commune, Allura remains a beloved house pet.
