Lupin came to us as a shooting victim. He had no control over his rectum or bladder and had to be expressed daily. Over time, and with medication, he regained his ability to potty on his own. He still has some rectum control issues, and much like Pickles, leaves nuggets behind on occasion. Hence his nickname Poopin' Lupin.
